Tijuana's Urban Kitchen has adopted a new form: Food Trucks. For about three years, Food Trucks have taken over the city of Tijuana, with the purpose of creating a new food culture that expands the palates of Tijuana's citizens, making them experience flavors ever tested. Food trucks offer a very broad and unique menu, unlike what we can find in any restaurant in the region.

 

The Food Truck movement arrived in Mexico recently as a new form of restaurateur entrepreneurship; trucks started appearing on the streets of Mexico City, mainly in the area of Roma and Condesa, where a large young "millennials" population is concentrated.

 

In Tijuana, has proved successful because these businesses have recognized the attractive points of its market. These trucks are ready to offer menus suitable for young people working in office, however, the food is just the beginning: there are gourmet presentations, trucks decorated by designers and personalized service, making Food Trucks a whole new experience for diners.
