• I believe there are just few meals that sound so bad but taste, oh so good! Such as the ‘torta de chilaquiles’. When I was told about this meal I thought “I am not going to eat bread with flour and salsa” but it was a surprise when I tried them because they are delicious and I learned to try before judging. The idea of the truck staying open until late hours of the night, waiting for all us drunk is very good. Considering that they are one of the few places that stays open until very late, their prices are not raised at all. 

 

 

• I have heard very good comments about the ‘torta de chilaquiles’ that they sell, yet I have never tasted them since I didn’t imagined such meal could be so delicious. Yesterday I went to the club with some college friends and we were starving at 3am thinking of a place where we could eat. I was thinking on going for some classic tacos, but a friend told us that last week he went to a ‘torta de chilaquiles’ and that he had love it, so we decided to go try them. I order the ‘torta de chilaquiles’ with chicken and chipotle, and I won’t lie, it was DE-LI-CI-OUS. I don’t know if it was that I was starving, that I was drunk or that it was really yummy, or maybe a Little bit of everything. I will be going back to try the torta with different salsas.
